Bec Talbot

Manager Enova Community, campaign manager The Greens

Bec Talbot has lived at the intersection of sustainability and community empowerment in the Northern Rivers for 15 years. Her work has included local food advocacy, accredited permaculture training and ethical procurement consulting. Bec is also a well-seasoned political campaigner, having coordinated various campaigns for The Greens.

Bec's work as the manager of Enova's not-for-profit arm, Enova Community, has included project managing Australia's first solar garden, a partnership with North Coast Community Housing allowing low-income renters to financially benefit from solar.

Bec firmly believes that sustainability is a community pursuit and that we are only as strong as the people around us. In her own words she "values her wealth in how many times a day she interacts with her neighbours".
