We are a zero-waste festival: BYO cutlery/crockery

Renew Fest has been a zero waste festival since its beginnings in 2016, and we celebrate everyone for participating in this a mass action for positive change. It brings so much joy and fun for everyone to get involved in this way!

This means no rubbish is created on-site, and we don’t have anything disposable nor single-use. You won’t see flyers handed out, nor will you see napkins or disposable serving items for food.

Everyone needs to bring their own cutlery and crockery (eg plate, bowl, fork, spoon, cup) to be served food from the zero-waste food stalls. A wash station, and wash station attendants, are provided to clean your eating utensils.

Because we are zero waste, no bins are provided. Any rubbish patrons that create on site is taken home with them (we know sometimes this is unavoidable for medical or child-rearing reasons).

We are a drug and alcohol-free family-friendly event.

Children 16 years & under are free.
