Youth Artisan CampaignRenew Fest 2017
We are launching a Youth Artisan campaign this year and we will be choosing 6 young artists to create a piece featuring the word ‘Renew’ to express one of the 6 key themes of our 2017 festival. These themes are…
and Ethical Economics
During the creation of these art works we are looking to share the stories of each of the 6 chosen artists and their experiences of personal renewal as we walk together now upon #Road2RenewFest.
We want to celebrate and share with the world what inspired each artist to contribute a work, how they connect with theme they choose, and why it is important to them when they consider renewal.
The Renew Fest media team will come out to each artists workspace and film a short story about the artist and their creative journey with their artwork along their road to Renew Fest, which will be shared through our media channels.
Renew Fest will cover up to $200 in material expenses for each of the 6 artworks and in addition to our media profiling of each of the 6 chosen artists, you will each receive 2 full festival passes and the opportunity to exhibit your personal works in the gallery space at the festival.
The six winning artworks will be on display at the festival in the venues relating to their theme and will become an iconic part of the festival for years to come.
If you are keen to be in the mix to be one of the six chosen 2017 Renew Youth Artists please in the submission form here.
Submissions close March 10th 2017
